[Indices of acid-alkaline status of the blood of rats of different age groups toxicated with cadmium]

Special features are given of changes in parameters of the acid-alkaline status of the blood of rats of different age groups in conditions of poisoning with cadmium. Experimental administration of ammonium chloride and sodium hydrocarbonate caused the state of metabolic acidosis and metabolic alkalosis of the decompensated character in the animals are given poisoned with cadmium. More intensive changes in the parameters of acid-alkaline status were marked in the group of old rats toxicated with cadmium. That witnesses on reduction of compensatory processes with the age.
