[Particular features of growth, development and plant productivity of spring barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) after seeds treatment with the diphenylurea and tetramethylthiuram disulfide]

In comparative greenhouse studies the influence of presowing treatment of spring barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) seeds of Gonar variety by incubation in acetone or film coating with the complex of diphenylurea and tetramethylthiuram disulfide (thiram) on the particular features of plant growth, development and productivity was presented. Seed treatment by both presented methods promoted the acceleration of plant development, the activation of shooting, the formation of optimum photosynthetic leaf surface and the increase in grain productivity in comparison with the control group plants. Application of acetone incubation made it possible to decrease the doze of tetramethylthiuram disulfide and to reduce the pesticide load to environment
