[Natural conditions of forming and distribution of sod-carbonated soils on the territory of Belarus]

Since sod-carbonated soils are the most fertile in territory of Belarus they are put into agricultural use. At present sod-carbonated soils allocated in structure of agricultural soils of republic occupy the area in 3277í9 hectares. Character of distribution sod-carbonated soils in territory of republic is revealed and skeleton map of sod-carbonated soils distribution is made. The natural conditions of forming and distribution of sod-carbonated soils on the territory of Belarus have been shown. It was conducted that the differences in distribution of sod-carbonated soils is closely connected with peculiarity of process accumulation of carbonates in soil-forming rocks. Results of research have allowed to establish the following: sod-carbonated soils on the territory of Belarus are formed on various on genesis soil forming rocks; character of distribution sod-carbonated typical, leached and podzolic soils is defined by features of carbonate accumulation in soil forming rocks; the basic tracts of sod-carbonated soils are concentrated within the areas of the western, the northwest and east parts of republic. Sod-carbonated typical are characterized for the western and the east parts of Belarus, leached – for the western, podzolic – fot the southern part of republic
