Research results of the development of ecological and floristic classification of meadow plants of flood-lands of Belarusian Polesye rivers is presented. The proposed classification includes 15 classes, 9 orders, 11 unions, 30 associations (19 associations with their sub-associations are new for the studied region). Prodromus of sytaxones of meadow plants of flood-lands of Belarusian Polelye of the system of sytaxones of Braun-Blanquet is proposed. Prodromus includes the following 5 classes: I class. Phragmiti-Magnocaricetea Klika in Klika et Novak, 1941; II class. Molinio-Arrhenatheretea R. Tx., 1937 em.; III class. Plantaginetea majoris R.Tx. et Prsg., 1950; IV class. Sedo-Scleranthetea Br.-Bl., 1955; V class. Nardo-Callunetea Prsg., 1949. Sytaxones system of flood-lands and meadow bogs of Belarisian Polesye is rather ecological. It reflects the complex ecological gradient of moisture-soil trophicity which begins with eutrophic grassy bogs and ends with psychrophyte communities of moist and cold soils. The developed economic typology of fodder grasses of floodplain meadows which includes 12 types of natural forage grasslands is proposed and analyzed. Realization of the optimal ecological strategy of usage and protection of meadows according to the grasslands types makes it possible to the increase meadows yielding capacity and quality, preserve useful (fodder, nutritive, herbal, melliferous, ornamental) and rare (orchid, iris, lily) plants and plant communities
