Evolución de la sensibilidad a fungicidas de las poblaciones de Mycosphaerella fijiensis Morelet en banano en Cuba.

Se estudió desde 1991 a 1999 la evolución de la sensibilidad de las poblaciones de Mycosphaerella fijiensis Morelet (Mf) a fungicidas triazoles (test de crecimiento de tubos germinativos de ascósporas) y benzimidazoles (test de germinación de esporas). Los niveles base de sensibilidad a triazoles de las poblaciones al momento de aparición de la sigatoka negra en Cuba estuvieron en el rango de CI50 0.0001 y 0.001mg/ml (clases 1 a 3 de una escala de 9). Se determinó una disminución cuantitativa de la sensibilidad a los triazoles en el tiempo a partir de 1996 con valores de CI50 0.03 a 0.1 µg/mL (clases de 4 - 6) y en 1998 y 1999 de CI50 0.1 a 1 µg/mL. (clases de 7 a 9). Esta pérdida de sensibilidad mostró una correlación lineal con el número de tratamientos de IBE (triazoles + morfolinas) realizados y con la disminución del uso de otras clases de fungicidas. Las poblaciones de Mf fueron sensibles a 1 µg/mL de benomyl. Las líneas base de sensibilidad a estrobilurinas (test de germinación de esporas) de cinco poblaciones de diferentes localidades mostró CI50 entre 0.03 y 0.8µg/mL.

The evolution of Mycosphaerella fijiensis (Mf) population between 1991 and 1999 to triazole fungicides (ascospore germinative tube growth tests) and benomyl (ascospore germination test) was studied. The base line of sensitivity to triazole in 1991 when Black Sigatoka was reported, was in the range of ED50 between 0.0001 and 0.001 mg/mL (range of classes between 1 and 3 of a maximum value of 9). It was determined a quantitative reduction of sensibility to triazole on time from 1996 (with values of ED50 from 0.03 to 0.1 µg/mL; class from 4 to 6) to 1998 and 1999 (ED50 of 0.1 and 1µg/mL; classes from 7 to 9). The lost of sensibility showed a positive correlation with the number of treatments with triazole + morpholine fungicides and negative with the reduction of use of fungicides belonging to other classes. The (Mf) population in 1998 and 1999 was sensible to 1 µg/mL of benomyl. The strobilurine sensibility base line on the base of the ED50 (ascospore germinative tube growth tests) of five populations of different localities was between 0.03 and 0.8µg/mL.
