Increasing use of low quality water for irrigation requires the development of salt tolorance varieties. For development of the salt tolorance Sugarbeat inbreed line (self ), the open pollination diploid multigerm population (7233-p.29) and a cytoplasmic male sterile (MSC2), and equal otype (Otype C2) and secondray Otype (A1) were planted in a filed with soil salanity of 12-16 ds/m. At the end of growing season, the roots with desirable morfological chracterristic were selected and stecklings were vernalized (for 3 month) each diploid monogem pants were divided into two part and were keeps in a cage with a male streile plant (MSC2) to produce S1 and F1 seeds. For elimination of male sterile plant, the S1 and F1 seeds again were put in a cage. Filed and laboratory investigation revealed that some lines were able to preseve it's male sterility up to 75% in S2 seeds. Therefore, the remaing were eliminated, and 16 crossess, including controll (male and female parent) were planted in Rodushat in a soil with soil salinity of 16 dS/m, the root yield and quality were measure for each one. According to the results no significant differncesc in the yield and yield qauality were observed between hybreeds in KarJ. In Esfahan condition in the 7233-p.29 there are salt tolorance inbreed line which the S1 and S2 seeds can be utilize for inbreed line. In Esfahan the highest root yield of 31.57 ton/ha were obtained from hybrid no. 8, and the lowest yield of 22.62 ton/ha from hybrid no. 1 and the difference were significant (p0.05). The highest sugar content of 20.52 percent was obatined from hybreed 12, but the difference were not significant (p0.05). The highest suger yield of 6.17 ton/ha which were not significant (p0.05) and the white suger yield which were significant different (p0.05) from control obtained from hybred No. 8.
