For designing of drying and other aeration systems used in agricultural products stores the relation between the drop in static pressure of air and air flow velocity must be known. In this study an apparatus consisted of an air compressor, a rotameter, a cylindrical bin and an inclined U tube manometer was used. Air flow resistance of Agria and Marfona potatoes and White garlic of Hamedan was measured and their regressional relationship with some parameters such as: depth of mass, size of tubers, moisture content and percentage of unwanted materials (soli and etc.) were defined by using of shedd and Ergun models. According to This tests: 1- The pressure drops when airflow velocities increases from 0.085 to 0.53.(m /s). 2- By increasing the depth of Agria and Morfona potatoes, and garlic piles in eaeh 25 cm , The static pressure will be droped by 1.52 , 1.6 and 1.42 times respectively. 3- By increasing of soil percentage in eaeh 2% the airflow resistance will be increased by 1.36, 1.33 and 1.22 times respectively. 4- At similar airflow rates , potatoes and garlics with Higher moisture content showed less pressure drops. 5- Among the 3 kinds of agricultural products and in the simlar airflow rate , The garlic and Marfona potato showed the maximum and minmum values of pressure drop respectively. For the Agria potato the airflow resistance measured 4-6% more Than the Marfona cultivar, in the same condition
