Quantitative and qualitative comparison of new lines of sesame

This study was conducted in 1999 – 2000 to evaluate the 21 lines of sesame plants of Safiabad Agriculture Research center of Dezful . The experiment design was a randomise complet block with three replication . The data analysis with programes MSTAT-C , SPSS and PATH analysis . Resultes showed high significant different between lines and about yield , number lines of 6, 3 , 2 and 9 with produce seed 1654 , 1564 , 1562 and 1445 kg/ha respectiveiy so that compatibel of check line is 24 percent highest . Results of regression showed R 2 =0.77 with three factor in model and path analysis so showed the number of capsul per plant with highest corrolation 0.709 direct effect is important in yield . in the final resulits we suggested number line of 6 , 3 , 2 and 9 for relised and for farmers .
