In order to achieve high yielding and adapted bread wheat varieties, this experiment was carried out in four (4) research stations around the country. Two hundred five ( 205 ) lines and varieties of bread wheat with 6 checks (Tajan,Shirodi,N-75-15 and N-75-16 varieties) in systematic design with no replication were planted. Plot sizes were 6x1.2 m=(7.2m 2 ) including 6 rows with 6-meter length and row spacing was 20 cm. During the cropping cycle besides, field management practices the following notes were taken: Days to heading (DTH), Plant Height (PLH), 1000 kernel weight (TKW) lodging%, reaction to diseases under natural condition and “mist irrigation system”, shuttering and Days to maturity (DTM). After harvesting, grains of each plot were weighted separately in kg.and collected data were analyzed and based on Rank method, comparing the yield of the entries to checks, favorite morphological characters and reaction to diseases thirty five(35) superior lines for warm humid zone (Gorgan,Moghan and Sari) were selected to be evaluated/ studied in yield adaptation and sustainability in advanced yield trials(ARWYT).
