Results of investigations with alfalfa on well-cultivated sod-podzolic light loamy soil are presented. It is shown that optimum NPK fertilizer dose in consideration of size of yield of dry matter and its nutritive value were P120K160, comes to 8.10 t haE-1. It is found that in the optimum trial variant (N20P120K160) providing the most oat yield with well quality, specific nitrogen removal amounted to 226 kg haE-1; 55 kg haE-1 - P2O5 and 271 kg haE-1 - K2O.
