The natural resources are one of most important production resources. It is very important to ascertain, what kind of natural resources are available in territory and economically evaluate the existing natural resources in the Vidzeme region. Hypothesis: The natural resources in the Vidzeme region are varied. The aim of the article is: to evaluate economically the existing natural resources in the Vidzeme region. The tasks to complete the aim of the paper are: firstly, to clarity the quiddity of the natural resources and secondly economically evaluate such natural resources: forests, agricultural lands, waters and mineral deposits. The paper consists of two main chapters, introduction, conclusion and proposals. In the first chapter is given information on the natural resources. In the second chapter, there is the economic evaluation of the natural resources in the Vidzeme region. There is information on forests, agricultural lands, waters and mineral deposits. The following research methods were used: abstractly logical, graphical, monographic, document analysis, deduction, synthesis and statistical methods.
