The studies evaluated the usefulness of sida forage (Sida hermaphrodita Rusby) to silage. Sida forage harvested in bud (ZW) and before flowering (ZP) was used as material for silage. The supplements such as molasses and propionic acid were used to facilitate fermentation. Sida silage without supplements was evaluated as bad or at most of poor quality. Molasses and propionic acid supplements assured very good and good quality. The crude protein and fibre content changes were dependent on harvesting term of sida forage and the type of supplements. Molasse supplement caused a substantial increase by about 12 percent of crude protein and decrease by about 17 percent of crude fibre contents. Nutrients content in bad and good quality silage was approximate
