Occurrence of four associations: Digitarietum ischaemi, Echinochloo - Setarietum, Centunculo-Anthoceretum punctati, Spergulario-Illecebretum and one community of Polygono-Chenopodion alliance with domination of Veronica persica was noted in non-ploughed stubble fields of the Kaluszynska Upland (Poland). Stubble fields developing on sandy soils were overgrown by phytocoenoses of Digitarietum ischaemi. Echinochloo-Setarietum was the commonest association, occurring in large plots on various types of habitats. Trophic and moisture differentiation of habitats affected the internal and phytosociological composition that is expressed in division of the association into a number of syntaxonomic units (variants)
