Relationship between content of phosphorus and potassium in the soil extract and in the groundwater

The study concentrates upon evaluating the relationship between the content of phosphorus and potassium in the 0.01 mol/cubic dm CaCl2 soil extract and their concentration in the groundwaters. Significant correlations between P and K in the soil extract and their concentration in the groundwater were found for farms from Grodek and Dziarnowo and only for P in Malszyce (Poland). The physical and chemical properties of soil, such as pH value and C organic content have been influential on the appearance of significant correlations between P and K in 0.01 mol/cubic dm CaCl2 and their concentration in the groundwater
