The paper presents five-year study results on the degree of cane tips rooting in blackberry cv. Thornfree depending on the time and mode of burying into the soil and position of buds on the main cane. The main aim of the paper was to determine the most optimal mode of obtaining quality planting material in blackberry cv. Thornfree by investigating the most optimal time of burying the cane into soil and the degree of bud cutting-back in the tip cane zone.
