Changes in animal production in Vojvodina [Serbia] at the beginning of the 21st centuries

Subject of this paper are changes in capacities and production results in animal production in Vojvodina during the period of 2000-2004. The results of analysis is compared with the same from the previous period. Positive changes are present in the capacity of cattle and sheep, and negative in the number of pigs and poultry. During investigated period average yields are increased in milk production, pig production and egg production. Average year production is higher only in cattle and pig production compared with a previous five-year period.
