The aim of the experiments was to examine the effects of using extenders and methods of artificial insemination in sheep. After insemination by the shortened Quicklock catheter in combination with extender Triladyl we obtained the highest fertilization rates of 72%, using the glass pipette and egg yolk-citrate entender give us the fertilization rate of 67%, and the lowest fertilization rate (36%) we obtained by application of shortened Quicklock catheter with specially modified tip and extender Triladyl. We can conclude, that the best results were obtained by using shortened Quicklock catheter adapted to the sheep reproductive tract in combination with the extender Triladyl.
