Straw bales gathering, transport and storage

This paper shows research results of different manipulation systems with classical straw bales (loading, transport, unloading and storage). Classical bales were tested in two variants: manual operation and loading by tractor chain loader. Roll bales manipulation tested in four variants: special front tractor loader, rear tractor fork, special selfloader trailer and combination of selfloader trailer with front loader. The test results gave priority to chain loader for classical bales manipuation. Roll bales, gathered at the end of the field, gave priority to selfloader trailer.
