Geometric parameters of a rotary tiller with counterrotating tines

Analyzed in this paper is a rotary tiller with tines rotating in counter direction to the tractor wheels. During operation, the tool tip follows trochoidal trajectory and the results are studied by examining the relationship between two adjacent trochoids. Ridge height is determined from the bottom of the furrow for the given tillage parameters, as well as the kinematic parameter formula for the given ridge height. Also defined is the method for calculation of the maximum furrow thickness.
