Application of modern agricultural machines in seed corn production

This paper analyze advantages of appliance of modern special purpose agricultural machines (harvester and detasseling machines) in seed corn production in order to increase the quality of seed material and decrease of overall costs of production. Paper presents comparison of different technological designs of seed corn harvesters, as well as experience with usage of sweet corn harvester in seed corn harvesting and experience with new type of detaselling machine with rubber disc system.
