In this paper, it is showed a methodology for numerical prediction and calculation of the small horizontal-axis wind turbines performances. Developed numerical algorithm was used for producing the new software tool that was applied for power-wind velocity performance prediction of the designed 10 kW wind turbine. Having in mind the potentials of new software, it is concluded that numerical simulation of wind turbine performance is crucial in geometrical modelling phase, because of possibility to optimize the impeller parameters with the characteristic of the location when it will be install.
