The stability of the core length of 21 cabbage genotypes (10 varieties and 11 hybrids) was studied over three growing seasons. The pooled analysis of variance revealed highly significant differences among genotypes, traits under investigation, and years, as well as, genotype by year interactions. The parameter stability test showed that six genotypes significantly deviated from the regression line. Only one of the six genotypes was cultivar and five were hybrids. The two hybrids are early ones, three of them are summer cultivars, and one cultivar is a late one. These genotypes had quite different regression coefficients around or above unit.
