Compost production from natural liquid manure and straw is a new procedure in our country. Composting is one of the most acceptable solutions on our farms, considering economical and ecological effects. Usual treatment of liquid manure and composting process were compared in this paper. Investments in both systems were estimated, contents of liquid manure and work and energy consumption were analyzed, as well as amount and fertilizing quality of compost were estimated. Economical results and appropriate conclusions were derived, based on investment and analytical calculations of both systems. Estimated systems were analyzed by application in pig farm model with capacity of 15,000 fatteners per year and daily natural liquid manure production of 50 cubic meter.
