After intensive defoliation in oak forests, caused by early season defoliators and gypsy moth when they outbreak, the new young foliage is susceptible to the attack of oak mildew (caused by pathogenic fungus Microsphaera alphitoides). To prevent the greater damage, the potential application of the mixture of biological and biotechnical insecticides is tested, that could be applied in the suppression of early season defoliators and gypsy moth, with the fungicides for the suppression of oak mildew. The potential application of the above mixture could prevent the succession of some harmful biotic factors and the further chaining of the damage.
