General design of technological procedure for fish feed production

Production of fish feed with exactly defined chemical composition and physical characteristics is a complex technological process that requires great knowledge but also an adequate equipment. A satisfactory preparation of raw material, extrusion, as well as, the use of vacuum coater, are certeanly necessary segments in the technological lines for fish feed production. General design of technological procedures for fish feed production, as a result of literature preview and our own investigation are shown in this paper. Obtained production results indicate that feed for trout, manufactured in our examination, does not lag behind World standards and generates the similar feeding results as the feed of three wellknown international producers.
