Testing of the microbicidal efficiency of an alkalic sanitation agent to psychrotrophic bacteria

Efficiency of an alcalic sanitation agent to psychrotrophic bacteria isolated from milk was tested. Adhering to application conditions of the agent (concentration 0.7%; temperature of the solution 65 degree C; application time 10 min) devitalization of bacteria was determined both in the environment without and with organic contaminants. A decrease in the temperature of the sanitation solution to 40 degree C lead to the survival of psychrotrophic bacteria in the environment with organic contaminants (at a concentration higher than 0.6 g per 100 ml).
