Modulus of elasticity beech wood (Fagus sylvatica L.) under the different conditions of hydrothermic treatment was studied. The moisture content was observed in the range between 0% and maximum of moisture content, while temperature range was between 20 and 100 deg C. The MOE was observed in two anatomy direction: radial and tangential. Determine the level of elasticity, relationship between different temperature, combination of moisture content and different conditions, will help us value the quality of beech wood and estimated the possibility process of bending solid wood, and that is the main reason of experiments and study. Results, established in very exactness regressive equations, shows us very clear the effect of moisture content on the MOE of wood. In principle, we can say that the main factor of changing MOE of wood is bond water, while the intensity of influence depend of the temperature of wood. Only at higher moisture content (up to 10%), the increasing temperature causing decrease of MOE.
