Family farms represent the basic sociological, productive and economic units of Serbian agriculture. The biggest part of agricultural land, livestock, permanent crops, agricultural machinery and facilities, as the basic agricultural productive capacities of Serbia, is placed on the family farms. Members of family farms represent the human resources, i.e. labour force and certainly the basic capacity in agricultural production. However, as this component has been the objective of analyzing in some other papers in this monograph, it have therefore been excluded from this one. A detailed analysis of family farms productive capacities is the essential to gain insight into the situation objectively, and to see the possibilities for development of agricultural production on family farms of Serbia during, as well as after integration processes. Such kind of analysis requires very extensive, complicated and longlasting researches, which exceed the category of this paper. Anyhow, this paper could be useful to introduce some productive capacities of family farms in Serbia.
