Humans play an important function in the landscape at present. Although humans are understood only as one part of a given ecosystem, they have a substantial influence on it. Natural ecosystems (without human influence) occur only rarely. The main purpose of this paper was to answer questions of ecological stability with regard to landscape structure and its natural potential: i) methods of coefficient of ecological stability (CES), ii) LANDEP - methods of landscape ecological planning, iii) the method of territorial system of ecological stability (TSES). The first method is suitable for use only as a preliminary description, and eventually as an addition to other methods. LANDEP comes from widely aimed analyses and syntheses. By square measurements of elements in the present landscape structure it is possible to work out quality of cadastral territory. By using the third method, the territory is scored from the standpoint of positive and negative characteristic. It concerns the reworked methods TSES.
