Effects of using simple rations in crossbred native chicken were studied at Chainat Animal Nutrition Research Center. The experiment was conducted by using 225 crossbred native chicks from the age of 3 weeks to 16 weeks as Completely Randomized Design with 5 replication. The chicks were fed ad lib with three dietary treatments consisted of : Group 1 received broiler-finisher complete feed Group 2 received layer-starter complete feed mixed with rice bran and ground corn meal in ratio of 6.5:1.5:2 Group 3 received broiler-starter complete feed mixed with leucaena leafmeal, rice bran and cassava meal in ratio of 5.5:1:1.5:2 The results showed that group 1 had better growth performance than other groups (P LT 0.05) and also had lower feed cost per gain (38.59 bath/kg).
