Purpost of this study was to determine the effect of feeding banana leaves for lactating cow. Four Holstein Freisian crossbred coes in the third lactation were allocated to Change-over design with the transition and experimentle period of 10 and 45 day respectively. Cows were fed with banana leaves and silage produced 6.52+-1.70 and 6.45+-1.90 kg/cow/day respectively. Butter fat, protein, lactose and SNF content were 4.17, 3.43, 4.75 and 8.94 percent for the cows fed with banana leaves and 5.19, 3.50, 4.58 and 8.85 in silage fed cows respectively.
