The different options for realization of effective sperm preservation from the species Cairina Moschata on low temperatures /-196 °C/ anabiose conditions are studied. Two media containing relatively yolk egg and extracted yolk egg low density lipoprotein /LDL-fraction/ in combination with the cryoprotectants glycerol polyethylenglycol thyodiethylenglycol ethylenglycol and diethylenglycol are investigated. It was established that the included as supplement cryoprotectant glycerol to the freezing media preserves normally the thawed sperms motility and the rate of statistical significance is high /from p 0.05 till p 0.001/ compared to the 4 other investigated cryoprotectants. The morphological alternations are expressed at the lowest degree in the gametes preserved with the cryoprotectant glycerol. The sperm ultrastructural alternations after cryopreservation are mostly in the sperm head and midpiece which are the most sensitive structures of these cells. The gametes cryoresistance depend on complex action of media with the used cryoprotectant components and on the ultra low temperatures effect.
