Research results of investigation of the biological efficiency of application of different dozes of sulfonyl urea herbicides gyurza (wettable powder) and prima (suspension concentrate) against the dominating weed species (wild spin , hemp nettle, mayweed, chickweed, forget-me-not, shepherd's purse, plantain) in the seeding of winter triticale in the conditions of Belarus were presented. Research results showed the optimal dozes for winter triticale protection were the following: 0,02 kg/ha for gyurza and 0,6 l/ha for prima herbicide. Crop treatment with gyurza (0,015 kg/ha) or prima (0,6 l/ha) made it possible to increase triticale yield by 6,3 c/ha and 12,0 c/ha accordingly. Application of the maximum doze of prima lowered the quantity of hemp nettle on 54% and chickweed on 93,9%. Application of gyurza lowered the number of wild spin on 46,4% and chickweed on 97,9%
