[Mutual relations of alpha-tocoferol and alpha-tocoferilchinon at pigs]

Influence of injections of increasing doses of exogenous alpha-tocopheril-quinone on the background of the raised level and within norm of alpha-tocopherol is studied. Experience is spent on pigs of early weaning, from 28-day age till 50 days in conditions of vivarium. As a result of laboratory research of blood tests, ten segments of thin intestine, liver, a thyroid gland and adrenals data on metabolism of vitamin E and its exchange products are received. Quantitative and qualitative changes in investigated material are revealed: dependence in the content of linolenic acid in a membrane of thin intestine of pigs on the background of the raised level of alpha-tocopherol in a diet; concentration of oleinic and stearinic acids from free alpha-tocopheril-quinone; changes in the hormonal status of thyroid gland and adrenals. Results of research allow to assume, that exogenous alpha-tocopheril-quinone entered to pigs intramuscularly, shows properties which can be estimated as antagonistic, and synergetic to alpha-tocopherol and they are shown basically on the background of raised providing of diet by vitamin E. Such mutual relation between superdosing of vitamin E and intramuscular injections of exogenous alpha-tocopheril-quinone, most likely, should be considered, how regulatory. Thus sharp reduction of linkage by membrane of thin intestine of alpha-tocopherol of feed under the influence of injections of exogenous alpha-tocopheril-quinone has found only some acknowledgement in concentrations of alpha-tocopherol in plasma of blood and liver. Apparently, injections of exogenous alpha-tocopheril-quinone strengthen transport of alpha-tocopherol from membrane of thin intestine. In acknowledgement to this in research of other authors peroral uptakes of alpha-tocopheril-quinone worsen linkage by membrane of thin intestines and transport of alpha-tocopherol to liver
