[Efficiency of some preparations against mange of carnivorous animals and rabbits]

Investigation of acaricidal properties of ointment Maz Avermektinovaya (on the basis of avermectin) and avermectin preparation in the form of gel developed and produced in the Republic of Belarus and their therapeutic monitoring against common scab (caused by Psoroptes cuniculi) of rabbits and foxes, otoacariasis (caused by Otodectes cynotis) of cats and demodicosis (caused by Demodex canis) of dogs was realized. The realized acaricidal examination of avermectin gel preparation efficiency against common scab invasion was 100%. Its insectoacaricidial activity of gel was tested by means of repeated application (with 7 days interval) and proved that the preparation lowered the incidence of studied diseases and exercised facilitary action on mangy diseases. The preparation showed anti - inflammatory, antiseptic, wound healing activity. Durability of treatment with Maz Avermektinovaya ointment against demodicosis of dogs depended on damage area and provided 100% efficiency. Single and repeated application of the ointment against common scab was effective in 100% of studied cases
