Investigation of the efficiency of the sanitizing action of apple acid (hydroxysuccinic acid) aerosol for air sanation on poultry husbandry farms of the Republic of Belarus was realized. In course of the investigation the influence of the studied aerosol on immunity, metabolic and viability indices of broiler chickens was analysed. Experimental results showed that the realization of the repetitive air disinfection with apple acid aerosol promoted the sanation of poultry buildings (total number of microbial flora, staphylococcus and coliform bacteria lowered in 2 - 10 times in comparison with the initial data), did not render influence on chicken metabolic processes after its multiple applications and increased chicken viability. The most evident bactericidal action the studied preparation rendered against microorganisms of Staphylococcus species. For the realization the day - to - day aerosol air disinfection in the presence of poultry it was recommended to use 0,5 - 1,0% solution of apple acid at the rate of 1 - 2 ml per 1 cubic meter of poultry building. In the studied concentration the analysed preparation promoted the lowering of chicken disease rate and increasing of productivity level
