Yield and technological quality of sugar beet after application of liquid fertilizer Samppi in 2007

A field experiment was carried out in 2007 in order to evaluate the effect of the liquid fertilizer Samppi applied on sugar beet leaves at the dose of 1 L/ha. The application of the Samppi fertilizer had positive effects on sugar beet yields as the yields of sugar beet roots, polarized sugar and refined sugar were higher by 9.2%, 14.2% and 7.9%, respectively, than those in control plants. Sugar concentration increased by 0.82%.
