Mouse as one of the pests found in such places not only dose a lot of damages but also transfers microbial diseases and infection. The use of cold-room and storage for preserving and storing food is essential and inevitable. One way of controlling mice is the use of chemical pesticides for rodents which cause a number of problems such as poisoning the products in the cold-room and storage, infection due to the dead body of the mice all over the place or even inside the packages. The present study (2003-2004) attempts to show that the use of glue trapping, as compared to the killing trapping is more useful in controlling the mice as it is much easier to use. Debello glue is the kind of glue used in this research using randomized complete block design, the research had two treatments, one using debello glue and the other killing trapping. Each of the trappings was tested in thirteen replications. For each replication, a cold-room or storage was used where equal number of glue trappings and killing trappings were used. Using a t-test the number of trapped mice by either glue trapping or killing trap was analyzed. The findings suggest that glue trapping works better than killing trapping.
