Deternination Of Most Optimum Date Of Transplanting On Yield Of Two Kohlrabi Cultivars

The purpose of this experiment was to find the most suitable transplanting date of Kohlrabi varieties in this area. The study was carried out as a split plot design using randomized complete block with three replication in fall season in Agriculture Research,Center,Borazjan in 2000-2001 The main plots consisted of two cabbage varities (Wv-444-SH, local mass Esphahan) and subplot was including10 transplanting dates(Aban-Azar) with age of transplantion (45-48 days) treatments were planted in the farrows with spacing 45*25 cm . Acording to the results of combined analysis were performed on data.There was no significant differenc observed between cultivars . But significant differences observed between transplantig date and other traits. Comparison of mean by DMRT indicated that the highest yield obtained from Wv444-SH in transplanting date (23Azar) with 39.38 t/ha and head yield with 418.3 (g), least yield from that variety was (9Aban) with 11.48 t/ha and head cabbage 210.7(g).Therefore wv444-SH is suitable cultvar and transplanting date from first of Azar until end of Azar are recommended for Bushehr province
