Primary tillage operation often creates cloddy soil surface in Iran due to in oppropriate moisture content. Therefore secondary tillage operation could not also break the clods and were not left uniform soil surface in the most part of country. Farmers should use disc harrows as common equipment even more than twice in some cases. Using disc harrows several times has negative effects on soil properties and increase energy, time and costs of operation significantly. The aim this research was to develop a new combined machine which enabled to prepare uniform soil surface in one pass. The machine was tested in the field and compared to other treatments as follows: 1) Disc harrow ance 2) Disc harrow twice 3)Combined machine The investigation was canducted in a Completely Randomzed Block Design with three replications. The parameters of Mean weight Diameter (MWD), bulk dencity, penetration resistance, soil surface profile, draft and moisture content were determined and analysed. The results indicated that combined machine improve some soil physical properties and left uniform surface but increased draf force significantly which needs some technical changes.
