Evaluation of Appetizer effects of herbal drug Appetonic on cattle.

In one Clinical trial Randomized 66 Holstein cows with symptom loss of appetite and anorexia were selected and treatment with appetoric (chicory and anisum ) And ruminotoric (nux vomica and Gentian). Cows were treated with drugs twice daily for 2 days. All animals were closely observed after and before of treatment for any clinical improvement such as grade of appetite (from 1 until 7) quantity and quality of ruminal movement. Result show that both of two drugs effective on appetite significantly (P.value0.001). Grades of appetite in Ruminotonic and Appetoric are 1.35 and 2.03 without any different (P.value0.05). Number of motility ruminant are 1.41 and 2.09 (P.value 0.05). Percent Rate of healing in cattle (increase 3 grade of appetite or received to grade 6 or 7) for Ruminotonic is % 21.4 and for Appetence % 47.2. Appetoric is a suitable herbal preparation for treatment of anorexia and loss of appetite in cattle.
