anglais. The teaching material is devised for the students of higher and secondary vocational educational institutions. The information about transport impact on environment, its measures in decreasing and prevention are compiled in the teaching material. The new certification process and the several driving cycles of motor cars are discussed. The several systems of decreasing emissions of motor car are analyzing, and its data are given. In short, the legislation of the Republic of Latvia in connection with decreasing impacting factors of motor car on environment is analyzed.
