The genetic improvement of biological traits of dairy cattle's is the main requirements in modern milk husbandry. Accordingly, the breeding programs for dairy cattle aim to produce more profitable cows (Jagusiak and Zarnecki, 2000; Chladek and Kucera, 2002). Holstein (HF) cows are one of the highest milk yielding breeds in the world. Holstein breed was used in breed improvement program of Blackand- White cattle in Lithuania as purebred or crossbred. The aim of this study was to estimate the relationships between % of HF genes and the productive performance of Black-and-White cows.
