The main province of soybean production is Ontario have a proportion of 80%, and Quebec and Manitoba have a proportion of the rest mainly. In 1942, beginning of soybean cultivation, 41,000 acres of soybeans were harvested in Ontario, with a total value of $1,509,000, in 2004, 62 years later, it is estimated that 2,300,000 acres of soybeans were harvested in Ontario, with a total estimated value of $594,230,000. In latest, five years average (1999~2004 years), Canadian soybean supply and distribution was total supply 3,196,000 t, total usage 3,016,000 t, carry-out stock 182,000 t and average price 302.63 $/t.
