Makiling, 18 are endemic to the Philippines, with Amphicnemis bonita, A. incallida, Risiochemis laguna and Drepanosticta makilingia either confined to Mt.Makiling or shared with Mt. Banahaw and Quezon. So far, D. makilingia is known only from Mt. Makiling. Rhinocypha colorata, Risiocnemis serata, and Euphaea refulgenes are common in Mt.
