In the studies on foliar feeding of sugar beet with boron, copper, manganese and nitrogen it was analysed the productivity and technological value of roots, determining the root and foliar yield, the content of sucrose, reducing sugars, alpha amino acid nitrogen, potassium and sodium. Fertilization with microelements did not modify the yielding level, but affected the yield of sugar. Foliar feeding with boron and copper influenced the content of sucrose and decreased the concentration of the molassogenic compunds - potassium and sodium cations and alpha amino acid nitrogen. Fertilization with those microelements induced also a decrease in the content of reducing sugars
