Influence of weed control methods on yielding and nutritional value of field bean seeds

The aim of the study was to evaluate the influence of herbicides and ecology oriented weed control methods on yielding and nutritional value of field bean. For the whole six years of investigation period mechanical methods of field bean weeding showed the highest effectiveness, especially performed in traditional form. The methods positively influenced protein content in field bean seeds and thus protein yield per ha. Investigated methods of weeds control did not influence the other parameters of nutritional value of seed quality with some exceptions
