The field experiment was conducted in 2002/03 and 2003/04 on good wheat soil in village Osowy Grad (Poland). The first row factor were three nitrogen fertilization levels (80, 120, 160 kg N/ha), the second - four winter wheat cultivars (Zyta, Korweta, Kobra, Sakwa). The nitrogen doses were applied: in beginning of vegetation, in the shooting in stalk, and in the earing. The following traits were estimated: grain yield, test weight, falling number, gluten content, gluten weaking, flour sedimentation and the farinographic traits and others. The effect of increased nitrogen dose from 80 to 160 kg per ha was similar in 2003 and 2004. There was yield increase together with increasing nitrogen doses. The results indicate that the effect of fertilization on quality traits was insignificant and very low
