The objective of the studies was to determine some livex characteristics proving that porcine blood, plasma and condensed erythrocytes can be used for the production of the following sorts of livex: 1) brown, black and white, fresh or dried, modified with sugars with or without whey addition, 2) black, fresh or dried modified with sugar or milk, 3) brown (with a decreased pH) modified with milk. The results of the studies show that full porcine blood, condensed erythrocytes and plasma can be successfully used for biotechnological livex production. The possibility of binding different liquid or solid modifiers by the net of fibrin enables the production of different sorts of modified livex for a variety of application in food, feed pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries
