Influence of the active matter herbicide doses on the yield and grain quality of spring wheat

The influence of different herbicides on the yield and chosen quality traits of new cultivars of spring wheat: Histra and Zebra was aim of this study. Two field experiments were conducted in the Experimental Station Osiny (Poland) in 2003-05. In the first experiment the following doses of herbicides were used: Puma Universal 069 WG - 1 cubic dm/ha, Secator 6.25 WG - 0.2 kg/ha, Chwastox Extra 340 SL - 3.5 cubic dm/ha. In the second experiment the herbicides doses were twice as in the first experiment. The higher doses of the Sekator 6.25 WG diminished the yield of the grain. Higher doses of herbicides had no influence on the gluten quality and the falling number
